Neuropathology and Applied Neurobiology

Neuropathology deals with the study of disease of nervous system tissues. In addition to examining central nervous system tissue, the neuropathologist usually is given the task of examining muscle & peripheral nerve biopsies as well. Neurobiology is the study of cells of the nervous system and the organization of these cells into functional circuits that process information and mediate the behaviour.
