ICCA Stroke is an interdisciplinary and interactive course with lectures from leading experts in the field, recorded cases, step by step presentations, debates, hands-on workshops and written knowledge examination. The course will look at the different aspects of stroke treatment, from patient selection, imaging, indication and how to do it, to post-procedural care as well as avoiding and managing complications. Organized by the World Federation for Interventional Stroke Treatment (WIST) in collaboration with the Department of Neuroimaging and Interventional Neuroradiology at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi, the meeting is designed for interventionists from all fields specializing in acute stroke intervention, vascular surgeons, neurologists and stroke physicians, anesthetists and anyone involved in endovascular stroke treatment, pre- and postprocedural care. Over 250 representatives from more than 20 countries are expected to attend and it would be a great opportunity for any students who have an interest in this specialty.
