Neuro-2015

It is our pleasure to invite you to Neurology conference entitled- 4th International Conference and Exhibition on Neurology & Therapeutics which is held at Rome, Italy. The main theme of our conference is "Novel Therapies in Neurosciences and Neurological Disorders" which covers wide range of critically important sessions.

The present Neuro conference focuses on Neurological disorders that are diseases of the brain, spine and the nerves that connect them. There is ample evidence that pinpoints neurological disorders as one of the greatest threats to public health. There are more than 600 diseases of the nervous system, such as Alzheimer's disease, brain tumors, epilepsy, Parkinson's disease, and stroke as well as less familiar ones such as frontotemporal dementia. Europeans are plagued by mental and neurological illnesses, with almost 165 million people or 38 percent of the population suffering each year from a brain disorder. With only about a third of cases receiving the therapy or medication needed, mental illnesses cause a huge economic and social burden, it found the cost burden of these and neurological disorders amounted to about 386 billion euros ($555 billion) a year. An estimated 6.8 million people die every year as a result of neurological disorders. Neurological disorders public health challenges describes and discusses the increasing global public health importance of common neurological disorders such as dementia, epilepsy, headache disorders, multiple sclerosis, neuroinfections, neurological disorders associated with malnutrition, pain associated with neurological disorders, stroke and traumatic brain injuries.

In order to accelerate the research in the field of Neuroscience OMICS group organizes different conference series worldwide.  For More..

Scientific Sessions

Track 1 : Migraine and Neuropathic pain

Neuropathic pain (neuralgia) is a pain that comes from problems with signals from the nerves. It was mainly classified into peripheral neuropathic pain that includes Radiculopathy and other peripheral disorder and central neuropathic pain which includes spinal cord injury and central disorders. Pain is a significant public health problem that costs society at least $560-$635 billion annually. The annual USA direct medical costs attributable to migraine were estimated at $1 billion in 1999.Women was more likely to experience pain in comparison to men.  The percentage of public experiencing migraines or severe headaches was inversely related to age. About 20 % of adults aged 18-44 years experienced a migraine or severe headache where 15% of adults aged 45-64, 7% of adults aged 65-74, and 6% of adults aged 75 and over. In the year 2008 prescription painkiller overdoses killed nearly 15,000 people in the USA. According to the recent survey, Chronic Pain affects 47% of USA Adults. The main intent of this session is to understand   Complex regional pain syndrome (CRPS) that is associated with dysregulation of Central Nervous System (CNS) and Autonomic Nervous System (ANS). Apart from CRPS the autoimmune antibodies involved in the Pathophysiology causes auto immune neuropathic pain. Along with this we will also discuss about Post stroke pain, Diagnostic procedure for neuropathic pain and psychoactive drugs and pain management.

Track 2:  Clinical Neurology

It is admirable to discuss about clinical neuroscience as this focuses on the fundamental mechanisms of diseases and disorders of the brain and central nervous system and seeks to develop new ways of diagnosing such anarchy, leading to the development of novel medication. Often It is difficult to state the importance of understanding mirror neurons and their function and this is well known that the Neurologic diseases are common and costly. As per the estimates by the World Health Organization, neural disorders affect over 1 billion people worldwide, constitute 12% of the burden of disease globally, and cause 14% of global annihilation. The current session on clinical neurology focuses on: Neurological conditions affecting people and treatment of neurological or personality disorders, Biomarkers` Investigation is one of the crucial tool for analysis of neuronal anarchy.

Including the same, we will also be concentrating on developmental risk factors and producing effective interventions, fundamentals of the clinical presentation and evaluation of people with disorders, functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI) and treatment and last but not the least new therapeutics evolved for neurological disorders.

Track 3: Neuropediatrics and Neurorehabilitation

Paediatric neurology evaluates children with disorders of the central and peripheral nervous systems. A large proportion in US population suffers from autism, mental retardation, dyslexia, seizures and other developmental disabilities.  Approximately 1,300 U.S children experience severe or fatal brain trauma from child abuse. Epilepsy is the fourth common neurological disorder in the US after migraine, stroke, and Alzheimer’s disease. So there is a need to take into account, the following diseases to dissertate: congenital hydrocephalus, Autism, Neonatal encephalopathy, Paediatrics tumour, Neurodevelopment disorder, Epilepsy and Child psychological disorders.

Neurorehabilitation is a complex medical process which aims to aid recovery from a nervous system injury. Rehabilitation is an access to reduce brain abscesses thereby increasing the Neural Repair. Neurological rehabilitation program is aimed to create awareness about the neural disorders and its diagnosis. Physiotherapy and remediation is a novel approach that remediates impairments and promotes mobility. Conference on Neurology and Therapeutics is an effort to address all areas towards Neurorehabilitation and Neural Repair.

Track 4: Neuro Infections and Neuroimmunological Inflammation

Neuroimmunology is a field of neuroscience, combining immune system and the nervous system. The immune system administer defence against these organisms, inefficiency of the same results in Infections. The condition is much worse in developing countries; it has been a significant health problem in Australia.  Some 350,000 to 500,000 patients suffer from multiple sclerosis (MS) in the United States .The conference on neurology is a platform to put our heads together and thrash out the cause of Multiple sclerosis and auto immune neuropathies, Neuroimmunological infectious disease, Neuromicrobial disorders and Neurological Lyme diseases,  Neuroinflamation, Neuroimmuno genetics. This session also includes to group think the alteration in neuromodulation and psychiatric diseases and the recent Drug development in the field of Neuro immunological disorders.

Track 5: Alzheimer's  Risk Factors, symptoms & Prevention

The brain immediately confronts us with its great complexity. Alzheimer's which is a type of Dementia: An Underlying Disease causes problems with memory, behaviour and thinking. As estimated,5.3 million Americans of all ages have Alzheimer's disease in the recent survey. AD is the sixth leading cause of death in the United States and the fifth leading cause of death in Americans of age 65 and older. The etiological factors, other than older age includes genetic susceptibility. so it is important to exchange views on Causes and Prevention of Alzheimer’s, Alzheimer’s Disease Diagnosis and Symptoms, Alzheimer’s Disease Pathophysiology and Disease Mechanisms, Care Practice and Awareness. we are also going to analyse the Alzheimer’s Disease Imaging , Mechanisms for Treatment and Therapeutic Targets.

Track 6: Neuromuscular Disorders

Neuromuscular disorders is known to affect the nerves that control the voluntary muscles. One of the causes is the genetic and immune system disorder. More than a million people in the United States are affected by some form of neuromuscular disease, and about 40 percent of them are under age18.Diagnosis includes  a multi-step process like muscle biopsy, NCV test, biochemical, genetic test etc. The goal of this session is to understand the origin of spine muscular atropies, Muscular dystrophy, Lambert-Eaton syndrome and other neuromuscular junction disorder. Further there will be an interactive conversation on Spasticy, Hyper reflexia and its prevention. In addition a talk will be deliberated on “Is it true that High dose of antibiotics leads to neuromuscular junction mal function” and the findings in the field of neuro muscular medicine.

Track 7: Neurosurgery and Neural Circuits

While the topic sounds pretty small, but we needs more speciality and critical care in this discipline. An estimated 69,720 new cases of primary brain tumors are expected to be diagnosed in 2013, that includes both malignant (24,620) and non-malignant (45,100) brain tumors. Basing on the prevalence of diseases, the conference focuses on Post-surgical neuralgias, Brain tumour and metastatis, Ooncological neurosurgery, Spine neurosurgery, Neuroanaesthesia and surgery and Vascular malfunctions and surgery . The neurons are organized into ensembles called Anatomical and functional neural circuits. Current researches identify disorders that affect different components of that neural circuit and a set of neural circuits that are critically involved in a specific disorder. Highest incidence rate of primary intracranial tumor was in Europe  and the lowest rate in Africa. So it is requisite to enhance our knowledge on Current neurosurgery method.

Track 8: Neuro Pharmacology

Increase in technology and our understanding of the nervous system has lead to the development of drugs and medicines in the two main branches i.e. molecular and behavioural beyond our imagination that has continued to rise with an increase in drug specificity and sensitivity. current  topic to be discussed are New pharmacological approaches for treatment of neural disorders, drug development in cell signalling and synaptic spasticity, and the latest advancement in neuropharmacologcal therapy and drug development in this particular sector. The present conference also aims to educate the researchers on Neuroimmuno pharmacology and Interfearance of pharmacological agents in neural disorder mechanism.

Track 9: Neuro Therapeutics, Diagnostics and Case Studies

Various neurology conferences are held all over the world like world congress of neurology 2015 Chile in order to enhance and empower the knowledge of neuroscience. The 4th International conference on neurology and therapeutics that will be held at Rome, addresses all areas pertinent to this endeavour concentrating on Novel therapeutics and Diagnostics at the cellular and molecular level.  There is a profound increase in the diagnostics procedure and drug discovery in the field of Neurology.

In order to accelerate the discovery of novel diagnostic therapy, the Neuro conferences 2015 encourages the gathering of researchers in order to discuss on the theme Stem cells in neurological disorder and treatment, Nerve injury and repair, Sleep disorders and headache, Neurogenesis, Neurotransmitter release and cell repair.

Track 10: Neuro Degenerative disorders and Brain attack

Neurodegenation or neuron death is the progressive loss of structure or function of neurons which includes disorders like Alzheimer’s disease, Parkinson’s disease etc. In the United States, near about 60,000 cases of Parkinson’s disease are diagnosed per year.  The 3rd leading cause of death after cancer and heart disease is Stroke, thereby focusing on the epidemiology of stroke and risk factors. The main classification of stroke is haemorrhage stroke and ischemic stroke. The areas highlighted for discussion in this session are: Motor neuron diseases and Ataxias, Alzheimer’s Disease, Mechanism and Diagnosis, Novel Insights and Therapeutics for Parkinson’s disease and Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis. Further we will discuss more about the various diagnosis procedure, Imaging technique, and acute stroke management.

Track 11:  Market analysis of Neuro Therapeutics

Management of acute and chronic neurologic diseases can be challenging for both the patient and the health care worker. The market analysis of neurotherapeutics represent the largest and untapped market in medicine sector. This estimated market analysis is based on probability of approval and sales of products in late stage development, demographic trends and marketing of product. Emerging markets once again helps to boost revenues. CNS therapeutics comprise approximately 15% of total pharmaceutical sales, nearly $30 billion worldwide. The efficient CNS pharmaceuticals have the potential to provide a huge benefit to patients and economic development. An estimated annual economic costs of anxiety disorders, depression, and schizophrenia are $47 billion, $44 billion, and $33 billion per year approximately. Generally  therapeutics development, for every 5,000 to 10,000 compounds screened, commonly about 250 will enter preclinical trials. The success rates for neurotherapeutics, are far lower than average. Decline in success rates late in development hugely accelerate the financial risk of  development in Neuro therapeutics. U.S. pharmaceutical R&D expenditures exceed those of any other major industrial sector, than high investment sectors such as computer software and services industries. Neural disorders such as , multiple sclerosis, epilepsy and Parkinson’s disease inflict great pain and suffering on patients, and every year costs the U.S. economy billions of dollars. Industrial  advancenments in biopharmaceutical research companies are developing 444 new medicines to prevent and treat neurological diseases which include:  82 medicines for Alzheimer’s disease, which afflicts more than 5 million Americans.  82 medicines for pain 100 million U.S. adults experience chronic pain.  62 medicines for brain tumors nearly 70,000 Americans are diagnosed each year with a primary brain tumor. 38 medicines for multiple sclerosis, 28 medicines for epilepsy and seizures,  27 medicines for Parkinson’s disease, which affects as many as 1 million Americans.  For headache 25 medicines , including migraines, thereby focusing utmost importance in the field of drug research for neurological disorders and Drug Development, Current Clinical Research, Market Value and Growth of Drugs.
